Being a first-generation student, Fatima didn’t know she needed to complete other financial aid forms for the highly selective colleges she dreamt of attending and missed the deadlines. Despondent that she couldn’t afford it, even if she got in, she nearly gave up. Jin faced tumultuous family hardship that left him feeling like there was no future for him and no one cared. But, thanks to their Fulfillment Fund Counselors, Jenny and Connie, both students are now on their way to earning their degrees.
