Folks, by now, you’re probably familiar with Eric Hovde, the right-wing megamillionaire recruited by the GOP to try and unseat Tammy. But did you know that just a few years ago, he was advocating to raise taxes for 72 million Americans?

It was a carbon copy of Republican Senator Rick Scott’s disastrous “Rescue America” proposal. He proposed tax increases for 80% of households making about $54,000 or less and 97% earning less than $100,000.

This proposal would have raised taxes for 32% of people in Wisconsin.

Hovde is out of touch with Wisconsinites on the issues that matter most — from abortion rights to cutting Social Security to repealing the Affordable Care Act. We can’t let him flip this seat and help extreme Republicans advance their far-right agenda in the U.S. Senate, but defeating him won’t be easy.

Hovde has pledged to spend at least $20 million of his own personal fortune to defeat Tammy, so we’re counting on this grassroots team to help us fight back and protect this seat.
