Howdy friend, it's Don Davis. Last Friday, I officially filed for re-election in North Carolina's First Congressional District.
In our first term, we have proven to be a tireless champion for eastern North Carolina constituents, working diligently to improve healthcare access, promote economic growth, and enhance educational opportunities across the First Congressional District. My record of bipartisanship and steadfast commitment to the values of North Carolinians has made me one of the leading voices in the nation, working to achieve common ground solutions for my constituents, according to the Common Ground Scorecard, a third-party group. As a native of eastern North Carolina, I understand the unique challenges facing many of our families in rural America. There’s far too much we must tackle and work to position our region for the future better we deserve. Over the past year, I have worked to provide a strong voice for us and make life better for our families. We simply must bring more jobs to our part of the state, address housing needs, protect the F-15 Strike Eagles at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, deliver on a good Farm Bill, and so much more. There is so much critical work to be done, and I need your help to win this fight again.
