Big Red, the Big Guy, and Big Green, Inc. all working together to make life harder for American families.

Fox News (12/18/23) reports: "A climate-focused nonprofit with significant operations in Beijing has wired millions of dollars to fund climate initiatives and environmental groups in the U.S., according to tax filings first obtained by Fox News Digital. While the Energy Foundation's financial filings indicate that the group is technically headquartered in San Francisco, a Fox News Digital review determined that the majority of its operations are conducted in China with a staff that boasts extensive ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Its recently filed tax form show the group, which refers to itself as "Energy Foundation China," contributed $3.8 million to initiatives in the U.S. like phasing out coal and electrifying the transportation sector. 'The Energy Foundation's ties to China are both extremely disturbing and reprehensible,' Tom Pyle, the president of the Institute for Energy Research, told Fox News Digital in an interview. 'These environmental organizations, the recipients of this money, are, in essence, sacrificing our national security and empowering China. We are the richest energy nation in the world with respect to coal, oil and natural gas,' he continued. 'And yet the Biden administration and the environmentalists fueled by China are promoting policies that would increase our dependence on China, which controls all the minerals and materials needed for batteries and wind and solar, and curtail our production of oil and gas here at home.'...'If they're successful, they'll make America weaker and China stronger,' Pyle said."

"Like vast numbers of climate 'experts,' Kerry has no education or training in climate science, or any science. What qualifies him to instruct the rest of the world on where, or whether, it should get electricity? Experts like Kerry, ivy league politician Al Gore, high school dropout Leonardo DiCaprio, and King Charles with his Cambridge degree in art history, have been lecturing the world on this highly-controversial and poorly understood scientific discipline for years – while they arrive via private jets and live in palaces. And lecture everyone about things that should be banned – things ordinary people depend on in their daily lives."

This is who The Big Guy thinks should serve as a federal judge. Another anti-pipeline activist who will serve the interests of Big Green, Inc. over the U.S. Constitution.

If only President Biden didn't drain the SPR to try and solve his political problems...

Daily Caller (12/18/23) reports: "The escalating violence in the Middle East caused a disturbance in the global energy market Monday morning after a major oil company announced it is pausing shipments through a crucial shipping lane. British Petroleum (BP) said that it is halting oil shipments through the Red Sea because of the uptick in attacks launched by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis, a militant Islamist group that the Biden administration removed from the 'Foreign Terrorist Organization' list in 2021. BP is the latest major company to pause its operations amid the escalating violence in and around the Red Sea, and the announcement prompted a spike in oil prices worldwide, according to CNN...Following the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war, energy experts told the DCNF that the administration’s SPR releases leave the U.S. in a more vulnerable geopolitical and economic position, particularly if the conflict spills over into other parts of the Middle East. 'This is exactly why we have an SPR. But now, we only have half an SPR since Biden sold off half to buy some votes,' Dan Kish, a distinguished senior fellow for the Institute for Energy Research (IER), told the DCNF regarding BP’s announcement."

Removing carbon is a proxy for removing you.

Modern life requires reliable energy. Unicorns and green dreams aren't going to cut it in a blizzard.

Utility Dive (12/14/23) reports: "Rising peak demand and the planned retirement of 83 GW of fossil fuel and nuclear generation over the next 10 years creates blackout risks for most of the United States, the North American Electric Reliability Corp. said Wednesday in its annual Long-Term Reliability Assessment. While most regions should have sufficient electricity supply in normal weather, both the Northeast and Western half of the U.S. face an elevated risk of blackouts in extreme conditions. And parts of the Midwest and central South areas could see power supply shortfalls during normal peak operations. To address the growing risk, NERC said new gas capacity is needed, the nation’s transmission network must be expanded and grid planners must develop processes to better account for variable resources and the interconnected nature of the power and gas sectors."
