I want to thank you for being part of our movement for social, racial,
economic, and environmental justice. Here in Western Pennsylvania, we’ve
been building a multiracial, multicultural, multigenerational coalition to
ensure a people-powered government.

The entire nation is watching and learning from the blueprint we've
crafted right here in Allegheny County—a blueprint of winning against the
odds, no matter how high the money is stacked up against us. This is the
narrative of the underdog, where our collective strength, unwavering
commitment, and deep-rooted values are the forces that drive us toward
success in the face of well-funded opposition.

In 2018 we sent Summer Lee and Sara Innamorato to the state legislature—an
unprecedented win for people-powered democracy over machine politics.

In 2021 we elected Ed Gainey as the first Black Mayor of Pittsburgh.

In 2022 we sent Summer Lee to Congress as the first Black Woman to
represent Pennsylvania.

And, just this year, we elected Sara Innamorato as the first female
Allegheny County Executive.

message, our values, and our progress. They’ve come for Ed, for Sara, and
for Summer—and they’re gearing up for 2024. But we’re not just standing by
