spread to drive a wedge between marginalized communities and undermine
authentic solidarity + ally ship. But also, true solidarity isn’t
transactional. These attempts to shame the Blk community into
unconditional support are problematic. Stop. AP Tweet: Black American
solidarity with Palestinians is rising and testing longstanding ties to
Jewish allies

She rightfully called out the mainstream media for criticizing Black
Americans showing solidarity with the people of Palestine.

It’s a harmful narrative meant to divide us, but like Summer said:
solidarity and allyship with our Jewish and Palestinian siblings are NOT
mutually exclusive.

We can stand up against antisemitic attacks on Jewish people everywhere
while demanding an end to the abhorrent human rights abuses and
indiscriminate bombing against Palestinians.

That’s exactly what our Justice Democrats’ incumbents in the Squad are
doing, and it’s why we need to protect and build upon our diverse, young,
working-class, bloc of progressives in Congress.
