John,

After a year of campaigns and struggle across Texas, I’ve been reflecting on what Ground Game Texas is really about. Three words come to mind: hope, courage, and determination.

Hope, because you can’t do this work without a powerful belief in a better future.

Courage, because standing up to the hateful bullies in state government requires a willingness to take risks and engage in struggle.

And determination, because this is a long-term struggle for political change, one that requires endurance and resolve.

Ground Game’s programs are working for justice, dignity, and democracy. Here’s some of what we accomplished in 2023:

to

John, I’m not only a political organizer, I’m also a mom, raising children in this state. And when I look into the eyes of my daughters, I'm reminded why we fight: for a Texas that respects every person, upholds every community, and embodies justice and equity. We're not just fighting for today's Texas, but for a future Texas that our children can inherit with pride.

With a heart full of gratitude and resolve, ¡Sí se puede!,
