OPUS FREE?Musician Training
Gain new skills and confidence!
Join us for a fun week, learning new skills, and developing your practice.
OPUS are holding some training next year for musicians who are interested in the potential of music in healthcare settings.?We have eight spaces for music makers to join us for a week of free in-person training led by our four healthcare musicians.
With the recent funding we have received as an Arts Council England NPO, we are able to hold these sessions for free, and we would like to use this opportunity to invite musicians from the global ethnic majority residing in the UK to join us for this training as we are hoping not only to diversify the music in healthcare workforce, but also to bring diversity of thinking to our own practice.
The training will be held in Nottingham across five days beginning 11 March 2024. Where required, we will cover the costs of accommodation and a daily per diem.
The link to the training, more details and how to apply is here:?www.opusmusic.org/musician-training-2024
The deadline for applications is 10pm on Sunday, 21 January 2024.?
