The countdown is on and there's no escaping it now. Santa has made his list and he's checked it twice. There are only 6 sleeps until kids all over the world wake up to find presents under their tree. 

And yet, there are hundreds of parents and carers all over Victoria that are simply dreading this Festive Season. 

You are likely flat out; Christmas shopping, celebrating with friends and putting together your supermarket shopping list. It's a busy time!

But imagine instead – your calendar is empty and so is your baby's nursery.

You're not planning to fit the car seat before you bring your newborn home – because you can't afford to buy one. And no pre-Christmas sale offered a pram cheap enough for your budget. 

That's the Christmas morning that hundreds of Victorian Families will be having. Stress and anxiety for parents and carers knowing that they need essential items for their babies - and just not having the resources to get them. Instead they are left wishing they had a cot, or a car seat. Or a drawer full of clothes for their little one. Wishing they had a pram to bundle their baby in and leave the house. The only way that will happen for them this Christmas Day is if you help make it happen. 

I know I have reached out to you a lot recently. I would apologise for taking up space in your inbox but, hand on heart, I really can't say sorry.  Not when I know that babies are missing out, families are struggling and children all over our state simply don't have the essentials they need to thrive. 

I will leave this final message with you – we have three more operational days in the warehouse before we close. That's just three days to make the simplest of Christmas wishes come true. Please help those families who are hoping for a cot, or a car seat or a pram on Christmas morning.
