Jack, this month we started the end of the month fundraising push at the beginning of the month. We are expecting, and hoping, that people will be spending the time between Christmas and New Year's with family and friends, traveling, and just relaxing.

We are not expecting people to be paying very much attention to our emails. And frankly, that's fine with us.

However, it doesn't change the fact that we still need to reach our fundraising goal by the end of the month—the year. This year in particular, Daily Kos has relied on the generosity of our community to support our work. The majority of our income to cover our operating expenses come from small dollar donations from tens of thousands of Daily Kos readers and activists.
