I just left the debate. I hope I made you proud out there, and I hope I made it clear that if I'm elected, I can be your president, and a president for all people in our country.

Now more than ever, we need leadership. We need to be ready on day one to get the country back on track and clean up Donald Trump's mess.

But we need more than empty promises. We need the grit and the resolve to get things done.

We need to reach across the aisle and demand that our leaders do what's right. That we provide access to affordable health care. That we protect our planet and confront the existential threat of climate change. That we lead on the global stage again. That we keep every American safe and secure in these uncertain times.
