Want to get more involved next year? Sign up to run for our board! No political experience is required -- in fact, we love to have people with all types of experience on our board!

Nominations for the board are open until end of day Wednesday, December 20 and candidates will speak at our monthly meeting on December 21. Find a description of each position and more about being on the board here ([link removed]) . Open positions include:
* Vice President (incoming VP serves for two years; in second year, VP becomes President)
* Treasurer
* Secretary
* Membership Director
* Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Director
* Accessibility Director
* Communications Director
* Outreach Director

Expectations:
* Only current members can nominate someone (or themselves) for one or more positions
* You must be a current member to serve on the board
* You can become a current member by paying dues here ([link removed]) by 5 pm on December 20

Our final membership meeting of the year will be this Thursday, December 21 at Brick River Cider and also over Zoom. Available nominees will briefly talk about their reasons for wanting to join our board. See you in person or virtually! Voting will open after the meeting and will be sent to all members over email.
