I hope that you are finding moments of peace and joy this busy Christmas season.

Amidst the demands of this time of year, I want to remind you of an important need this Christmas.

Our mission goal of $350,000 to support gospel proclamation in Africa in 2024 is in reach… we just need generous friends like to answer the call!

Your gifts truly do have an impact, as you help to train African Christians for evangelism at every level of society.

You may remember, it was an encounter with an AE-trained mission team of local Christians that brought Niyirora to Christ in Rwanda earlier this year.

Niyirora, treasurer of her Catholic church, harboured a secret. She used to take 1000 francs from the offering case for personal use. Struggling with alcoholism and aggression towards those who questioned her actions, she was teetering on the edge of exclusion.

This is where your support made all the difference. In partnership with the Bible Society, African Enterprise ran the Jesus All About Life (JAAL) mission in Rwanda earlier this year. This mission brought the message of Jesus's ultimate sacrifice to communities.

Niyirora attended one of the JAAL events in the Gisagara district, and the impact was immediate. She rekindled her faith in Jesus, and her transformation was nothing short of miraculous.

"After receiving the salvation of Jesus Christ," she revealed, "I put an end to my life as a drunkard and a harmful woman. I willingly paid back the money, and I am currently experiencing peace and safety in my heart."

Niyirora's story underscores the extraordinary way God uses the support of friends like you to draw even those stuck in deep sin to himself. Jesus is seeking and saving the lost, and He invites us to join him in this mission!

So as we approach the year's end, I ask that you consider how much you can give to help reach the $350,000 goal to recruit, train, and equip passionate believers who will bring the gospel to every strata of society.
