Hey John! It’s Santiago. Over the next few weeks, you’ll be getting emails from different members of the VOTeam, introducing themselves and telling their stories.
There’s so much to do to make sure VOT is ready for 2024, and so much of that will depend on people like you, believing in us and chipping in to power our work. If you can give $5, $15, maybe $25 right now, it will mean so much to every individual Gen Zer working to prep for next year’s elections.
For now, though? You may know me already, but please allow me to reintroduce myself:
My name is Santiago, and I am 21 years old. I founded VOT in 2019 and now serve as the Executive Director.
I immigrated to the United States from Mexico in 2017, and I just graduated this past may from CSU Long Beach with a degree in Political Science. Since I moved here, I’ve been heavily involved in American politics, starting off as a volunteer for multiple campaigns.
I started VOT because Gen Z voters are some of the people most impacted by the decisions of our elected officials, yet we often vote in the lowest numbers of any generation.
And I, along with VOT, am working to change that.
John, VOT went from me and a few friends to a national organization that works across hundreds of college campuses, and turns out THOUSANDS of Gen Z voters in key states in every election. But our work is only possible because adults like you believe in us.
So please John, can you pitch in $27 to help us deliver on our vision to make Gen Z the most active voting group? >>

Thanks for believing in Gen Z,
Santiago Mayer Executive Director, Voters of Tomorrow
