Right now, Congress needs to be doing everything in its power to halt the spread of coronavirus, starting with passing Paid National Sick Leave. 

The House just passed a coronavirus relief bill which includes some paid sick leave for workers. However, depending on how long this global health emergency lasts, it still might not be enough. National Paid Sick Leave would allow the roughly 57 million Americans who do not have paid sick leave to forgo work if sick -- without sacrificing an income.

The United States is the only developed nation without a national policy on paid sick leave. That's because National Paid Sick Leave is proven to keep communities safer and healthier, by allowing those who are sick to stay home. 

Even the CDC is recommending for people who feel ill to stay home -- now, it's time we give every working American that same ability.
