John, in March, California voters will decide who will represent them in the Senate for the next six years – and I know I'm the single best pick in this race. Here's why:

1) I am the most progressive choice in this race.
I was the only person in Congress to vote against giving President Bush unlimited war powers following 9/11. I'm the only candidate who has co-sponsored Medicare for All every time it has been introduced. And now, I'm the only candidate calling for a cease-fire in the devastating conflict in Israel and Gaza.

2) I am the only Black woman in this race.
In the entire history of our Senate, there have only been three other Black women senators out of 2,003 senators. For generations, Black women have been underrepresented – and if I win, I'll take the experiences, struggles and voices of Black women to the Senate.

3) My opponents are sitting on top of millions.
I'm competing with these millions with the support of grassroots donors like you. I don't need to raise the most money, but I need to raise enough to stay competitive and reach the right voters to pull ahead.

John, I think my progressive record in Congress speaks for itself. I'm not afraid to fight tooth and nail to do the right thing and stand up for justice – no matter what enemies I might make. But I can't win this alone, so I have to ask:

Can I count on you to chip in $5 to power my historic race for the Senate? With a large portion of California voters still undecided, every single dollar goes a long way.
