I want you to think back to where you were on Election Night 2016.

I remember exactly where I was. Pam thought it would be fun to make cookies in the shape of all 50 states and we’d frost them red or blue as results came in. Unfortunately as we made more and more red cookies we started realizing what was happening.

Donald Trump, someone who vilified immigrants and bragged about sexual assault was going to become President of the United States. I remember the despair we felt. The sadness and the anger. I refuse to feel that way again.

I share this story to remind you how important it is that you get involved before this happens again. If the election were held today, not only would Trump win, but he would have a GOP majority in Congress to go along with it.

I refuse to let that happen. That’s why I’m begging you to take this election seriously. We need to volunteer, speak out, and donate before it’s too late. If we do that, on Election night we can celebrate finally sending Donald Trump and his MAGA allies to the dustbins of history. That sounds a lot better than red cookies.
