Friend -- We are committed to fighting disinformation, but we need your help. As the 2020 Census is hitting people's mailboxes, the Trump campaign has been focused on undermining the count.

Since the Supreme Court blocked the administration's attempt to include a xenophobic citizenship question on the census, conservatives found new ways to attempt to undermine the count.

This month, the Trump campaign ran misleading ads on Facebook asking people to take the "Official 2020 Congressional District Census" -- a clear attempt to trick people into thinking they were filling out the census. These ads were taken down thanks to strong public pressure, but that did not stop the campaign and its allies from sending a similar survey through old-fashioned postal mail.

We cannot just stand by while conservatives manipulate the census in an attempt to stack the deck in their favor during redistricting. We need just 28 people from D.C. to sign our petition in order to hit our deadline by midnight.
