Last week, I emailed you about our urgent drive to amend the state constitution to protect access to contraception and reproductive freedom.

A few days ago, Ron DeSantis told CNN that he wouldn't take meaningful action to provide critical healthcare to people like Kate Cox, a Texas mother who was denied critical care for her non-viable pregnancy due to the state's extremist abortion ban.

John, Kate Cox had to flee the state to get the care she needed after an 11th-hour reversal from the Texas Supreme Court.

Now, it's all too clear why we need to put it in Florida's constitution that reproductive freedom must be protected. We can't leave it up to far-right extremists like Ron DeSantis and my opponent, a self-funding who brought this district to the closest election result it's had in recent memory.
