I’m writing to you because I know what time of the year it is. Yep, even campaigns celebrate the holidays.
And I know a lot of you will probably start taking some time away from these emails as we get closer to the end-of-the-year.
That’s not a bad thing. It’s great. I will, too.
My wife and I had our first child together just a few months back, so this is Baby Isla’s first Christmas. We won’t get those moments back, and I want to make the most of it.
But the timing… It's not ideal. New Year’s Eve is also our final FEC deadline of the year. Our most important deadline of this campaign.
And before we take some time off for the holidays, I’ve got a bit of bad news: We’ve fallen behind on our goals.
I won’t be making quite as many fundraising calls as I normally would to catch up because of the holidays, and that’s why I’m writing to you. I’m hoping that you’ll be able to help us close the gap by chipping in to this email.
This is a really magical time, but it’s also a really important time for this campaign. And I hope you can help.
So: Can you chip in to my campaign before our FEC fundraising deadline at the end-of-the-year? I’m really counting on you to help us hit these goals.
