John, I’m sorry for reaching out this late, but I had to give you a quick update from our team.

As we approach the holidays, we know people will be checking out to spend time with loved ones, and with that will come a slowdown in donations.

It’s fair, but it makes it especially tough for us to end the year strong. Altogether, this moment is our most critical yet.

We’ve set a goal of raising $25,225 between now and the end of the year. I just pulled out my calculator and did the math – if everyone who gets this email gives just $25, we can hit our goal.

The hard truth is that a few people probably won’t step up. So I really am counting on you to be the driving force behind us hitting this goal, and fighting for change in 2024.
