Dear John:

When I learned that my own son was currently serving in Gaza with his
military unit, the reality of what every family in Israel is facing
hit home even stronger.

While I’m proud of him, I am also a parent who understands the very
real dangers he is facing.

Our sons and daughters are at war against a barbaric enemy, and we
must do everything we can to help them succeed—for us, for them, and
to perpetuate the next generation of Israelis.

And one of the biggest requests being made by the IDF soldiers is for
warmer winter coats as they battle our enemies and the winter elements
in Gaza.

I know it seems odd that heavy coats are a necessity in Israel. I’m
sure every picture you’ve seen of Israel is either a desert or
tropical paradise.

But it can get down to 10°F in parts of Israel and many of these
soldiers are ill-equipped for the cold weather.

This is the first time Israel is fighting a war in the winter and with
hundreds of thousands of men and women in service, we just need more
warm winter jackets.

IF WE WANT THEM TO WIN THE WAR, THEY’VE GOT TO HAVE THE RESOURCES
FROM WARM GLOVES TO WARM JACKETS TO ENDURE THE ELEMENTS.

THAT'S WHY WE ARE DONATING WINTER COATS TO IDF SOLDIERS. AND WE NEED
YOUR SUPPORT TO ENSURE EACH AND EVERY SOLDIER STAYS WARM AS THEY SEEK
TO END THE THREATS ISRAEL HAS FACED FOR FAR TOO LONG.

These brave men and women are risking their lives by rooting out the
enemy who wants nothing more than to see every Jew and Christian wiped
off the map.

The Genesis 123 Foundation has a goal to provide 500 of these winter
coats for Israel’s soldiers immediately and each one costs $100.
