Tammy Baldwin here with an important update on our campaign: 

The past few weeks have been really tough for our campaign. Fewer folks are opening and donating to messages like this one, and as we prepare for the holiday fundraising slump, my team is worried we won’t be able to make up for lost ground before our important public fundraising deadline on December 31st.

That’s a problem because while our fundraising slows down, Republicans are making plans to spend a fortune on Wisconsin’s Senate race. As we speak, the GOP is recruiting a right-wing megamillionaire willing to spend at least $20 million of his own personal fortune to defeat me.  

That’s why I’m reaching out with an important request. I know that these emails can be a bit pesky sometimes — and trust me, the last thing I want to do is ask you for your hard-earned money. But the truth is, these emails make a huge difference for our team.

If we’re going to protect my seat from right-wing self-funders, then we need to catch up on our goals — and quickly. But we can’t do it without you, so I’m humbly asking:
