Our incredible, dedicated, and growing team is at the heart of everything we do. We demonstrate respect and care for one another by living our company values and fostering a culture of understanding, while remaining deeply committed to building the political power of moms and disrupting the systems that hold us back.
Prioritizing the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of our team is deeply embedded in our team culture — and we felt it was important to enshrine these values in our official handbook.We believe our company policies should reflect what matters most and how we plan to support one another.
That’s why Vote Mama will be starting our annual organization-wide restorative holiday break today.
Our staff will be offline for the next two weeks, so that we can prioritize rest, care, and precious time spent with our loved ones. After all, the freedom for every individual to health, comfort, and happiness is what this work is really all about at the end of the day.
As members of our grassroots team, you are critical to our movement, too. And we can’t thank you enough for sticking with us. It’s been a busy year for all of us, and one we can be proud of. Our hard work paid off (especially with historic election wins in November), but now we must replenish our fuel tanks so we can fight back even harder in 2024.
We’ll be returning from break rested, recharged, and more ready than ever to elect pro-choice Democratic moms.
