Lipinski: Voted against overtime pay and against a $15/hour minimum wage. Marie: Supports a $15/hour minimum wage and efforts to strengthen organized labor. Lipinski: Takes big donations from fossil fuel interests and voted for the Keystone XL pipeline. Marie: Endorsed by the Sierra Club and the Sunrise Movement and will fight for policy to address the growing climate crisis. Lipinski: Simply doesn’t have a plan to address the higher education cost burden. Marie: Will fight for student debt forgiveness and more affordable pathways to college, community college and vocational school. Lipinski: Rated the most anti-LGBTQ Democrat in Congress and still opposes marriage equality. Marie: A longtime champion of LGBTQ rights who believes all discrimination should be fought tirelessly. Lipinski: Has accepted over $2.5 million in corporate contributions including taking money from outside groups funded by Republicans.
