Thanks to your work electing Mayor Brandon Johnson in Chicago over the full power of the establishment political machine, Chicago has already passed a measure to guarantee a higher wage for tipped workers.
As we look ahead to 2024, a pivotal year for our democracy, we face significant challenges. AIPAC plans to spend at least $100 million in an attempt to unseat our strongest pro-peace progressive allies, such as Cori Bush, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and many others.
Your continued support is critical because their brave opposition to the murder of civilians has life or death stakes, and we need to have their back against right-wing forces that seek to use their unlimited resources to silence their voices for good.
And, with Joe Biden struggling in key swing states, we need to pick up the slack to mobilize young voters, progressives, and other key constituencies that are necessary to stop a Trump dictatorship that will crush abortion rights, end fair elections, and more.
Our work to defend democracy in 2024 is buttressed by our great success this year.
In Ohio, your support helped us codify abortion rights and defeat an anti-democratic ballot measure funded by right-wing billionaires.

Our Revolution also launched a campaign in 2023 to end medical debt, collaborating with Ro Khanna and patient activists nationwide to combat hospital price-gouging and predatory debt collection.
While we continue the fight for Medicare for All, we are actively working to pass CalCare single-payer healthcare in California, supported by leaders like State Assemblyman Ash Kalra and U.S. Rep. Barbara Lee.
In 2023, we also were heartened to see incredible union victories for working people. From SAG-AFTRA writers in Hollywood to UAW workers securing hard-fought contracts with the Big 3, Our Revolution members actively supported workers nationwide in their pursuit of better pay and working conditions.
