We’ve got a month until the GOP Iowa caucus. That means we only have a month until voters see the name Donald J. Trump on a ballot.

Of course, we know which way they’re gonna vote. Iowa’s going to Trump. It’s his party. The ballots he appears on are basically formalities.

But it matters because it officially means that the fight is on. Voters across the country will be waking up. We need to make sure that our message is heard loud and clear. And we keep saying a primary is going to damage Trump. And anything that damages Trump is good for democracy.

When the calendar turns to 2024, this all gets so much more real. And you better believe that when Trump stomps through Iowa in just one month, he will sweep up piles of GOP mega donor cash in the weeks to follow. And he’ll already start making his case to general election voters.

Read that last sentence again. We want to make sure you understand the stakes. In less than a month, the Trump campaign will crush the Iowa caucus, gain a massive fundraising boost, and compete with us to target the voters that will decide the future of our democracy.
