Twenty-two people were murdered in El Paso on Saturday, and the very next morning, nine more were murdered in Dayton. These were parents and children, brothers and sisters, all stolen from their loved ones in an instant.

People said that if gun safety reforms couldn't pass after our loved ones were murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary, then they never could. But despite Congress' heartless inaction in the over six years since – and all the precious lives lost since – we've never given up. And we won't give up now, either. We have no other choice but to work even harder.
