Resolution Condemning the CFPB’s Attack on Main Street Signed by Speaker Johnson

I joined Speaker Johnson for the signing of S.J. Res. 32, the Senate companion to my legislation, H.J. Res. 66, which disapproves of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) Section 1071 Small Business Data Collection Rule. This legislation will soon be sent to Biden's desk to be signed into law. During a time where small businesses are facing crushing inflation and increasing borrowing costs, this bill will put an end to the CFPB’s broad, burdensome, and difficult to implement rulemaking that is crushing Main Street America.

House Republicans Reaffirm Impeachment Investigation into Joe Biden

Since September, House Republicans’ impeachment inquiry has uncovered the corrupt conduct of the Biden family. It is clear that Joe Biden, his family, and White House officials have repeatedly lied about the President’s knowledge and involvement in the family’s business activities. Wednesday, House Republicans passed a resolution to reaffirm the impeachment investigation into Biden's clear abuse of power for financial gain. Having the last name 'Biden' does not put you above the law. The American people deserve the truth!

End of Year Committee on Small Business Hearing

I am proud to serve as the voice for Main Street America in Washington. As Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, I have led 20 hearings this year to build an environment where small businesses can thrive. It’s no secret that America’s entrepreneurs have been forced to confront historic challenges under Biden. From the aftermath of COVID, to out-of-control inflation, broken supply chains, high interest rates, limited access to capital, and a national labor shortage, many businesses are struggling just to stay afloat. Small businesses are the engines of our economy, accounting for over half of the payroll of the entire country. I am fighting each day to cut burdensome regulations and implement policy that allows small businesses to succeed. Watch my opening statement here.
