John, the vast majority of Americans had no idea who Mike Johnson was just a couple months ago.

Since then, he’s gone from complete and utter obscurity to Speaker of the House, second in line to the presidency, and the most powerful Republican in Congress.

Here are 3 things that are top-of-mind since Mike Johnson was elected Speaker:

1) “Moderate” Republicans aren’t a thing. All the GOP House members who said they’d never elect an extremist as Speaker cowered in the face of adversity and cast aside any principles they may once have had.

2) This is still Donald’s GOP. These extremists are still too afraid of Donald to stand up to him, so they chose an extremist in his image to serve as Speaker.

3) It’s more obvious than ever that we have to flip the House in 2024 to save our rights and our democracy.

House Republicans have shown their true colors, and in doing so given us yet ANOTHER reason to know they can’t be trusted. Will you please consider chipping in $30 to help defeat the GOP and put Democrats in control of the House in 2024?
