One of the toughest parts of anyone's service in the military is leaving family behind and missing out on precious time with them, especially around the holidays. That's why I'm reaching out to you today.
Being able to connect to loved ones through USO programs was critical when I was deployed, and these programs continue to keep service members connected to home, no matter where they are. But this work relies on military supporters like you.
This holiday season, the USO has set a goal to help fund critical programs, including at least 3,000 phone calls home for our service members — and a member of USO's Board of Governors is MATCHING all donations to help provide critical services to our military members and their families.
So please, I'm personally asking you to make a difference for our service members before Monday's goal deadline: Will you give $29 now to have the value of your donation DOUBLED to help fund essential services like phone calls home for our brave service members this holiday season and into the new year?**
I've experienced it for myself and seen it in action time and time again: Your support makes a difference for our military. And none of the USO's efforts to support our troops would be possible without you.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
