Hi John — Before I
ask you to [ [link removed] ]pitch in to my campaign ahead of our FEC deadline at the end
of the month, I want to explain why this deadline is so important.

We’re just weeks away from the GOP’s Iowa Caucus.

As we speak, Donald Trump is dominating the GOP primary field by an
average of 47.5 points. It’s not even close, and hardly any of them have
the guts to stand up to him directly and do anything about it.

But I have — and I will again, if I must.

If Trump steamrolls the primary field on his way to the nomination, we may
have a Republican nominee convicted of felonies, who cannot even vote for
himself.

And we would be dangerously wrong to think that he can’t possibly win.

Our democracy is in crisis. I’ve been saying it for years. And we can’t
give up fighting for it, because that’s exactly what these MAGA extremists
are counting on.

That’s why this deadline is so important. It’s our last one before the FEC
quarter comes to a close and we begin making our final arguments to the
people of California to win this U.S. Senate primary.

And it’s the last chance to build up our defenses before Donald Trump
becomes the Republican nominee in all but name and puts me squarely in the
crosshairs of his presidential campaign’s attacks.
