Step two: We build resistance in Congress. For years, a healthcare lobbying group has kept members of both parties in lockstep, supporting their profit-driven plans that deliver worse outcomes. But because of work that Social Security Works has done, more and more members of Congress are speaking up to criticize corporate healthcare greed!

Step three: We mobilize the public against further privatization of Medicare. When Donald Trump launched a scheme to shift people in traditional Medicare over to for-profit plans, we submitted hundreds of thousands of official comments in opposition. We sent a clear message that we are watching―and we won’t stop until Medicare is safe.
