There are three important numbers we'd like to share with you today that draw a real contrast between Elissa and the Republican candidates in this race. Take a look:

$120,000. That’s how much PAC money former Congressman Mike Rogers received in the first 24 days of his campaign – from other Republicans supporting his race to corporate PACs of a private prison company and Elon Musk’s SpaceX PAC. We know that more is on the way: During his time in Congress, Rogers accepted nearly $5 million (!!) from corporate PACs.

Over $5,000,000. That's how much our newest Republican opponent, businessman Sandy Pensler, spent to self-fund his primary campaign for Senate in 2018. He is again prepared to spend millions of his own money, particularly on early TV ads. He’s not alone either. One of our other opponents, Peter Meijer, gave his campaigns for Congress $1.6 million and he and his billionaire family has the ability to throw even more at this Senate race.

$0: That's how much corporate PAC money Elissa has taken since she first ran for Congress in 2018. That's right – $0. Because she wants her constituents to know that she is fighting for their interests, not for the interests of large corporations or to self-fund a position of grandeur. And unlike some, she has stuck to the pledge – even after getting elected. Based on estimates, Elissa has forfeited hundreds of thousands in corporate PAC money during her years in Congress.

Despite not taking any corporate PAC money, Elissa has gone against corporate-backed GOP opponents and won. How? By relying on lots and lots of normal people giving what they can, when they can. And a surprisingly large portion of the small-dollar contributions to our campaign come in response to emails like this one.

So if we're going to successfully fight back against the flood of corporate PAC money that will pour into this race, it's going to be because people like you helped Elissa when it mattered most.
