Friend, the path to a blue Senate runs directly through Florida.

Now that Sen. Manchin is retiring, defending our seat in West Virginia will be almost impossible. That means that even if we win every other Democratic seat on the ballot in 2024, which is already a tough task, we could STILL wake up to a red Senate the morning after Election Day.

The only viable path to guarantee that Mitch McConnell does not retake power is flipping a red seat blue in 2024. And polling data shows that my race is already a statistical tie. Rick Scott is seriously vulnerable, friend.

He's never won an election by much more than one point — last time around he only clinched victory by a mere 10,033 votes! And he had to pour $64 MILLION of his own fortune into his campaign to do it. When the polls closed, he had outspent his Democratic rival by $50 million to win by just 0.12%.

In the years since then, he's pushed a radical agenda that's way out of touch with voters here. He spread Trump's Big Lie and refused to certify the 2020 election. He wants to raise taxes on working families. He wrote the plan to end Social Security and Medicare. And he even supports passing a nationwide ban on abortions.

While Rick Scott pushes his radical agenda and schmoozes with other mega-millionaires in Washington, families here in Florida are being left behind. Housing prices are rising, higher education is getting further and further out of reach, parents working two jobs are still struggling to pay the bills, and climate change is threatening our coastal communities.

Florida voters have had it with Rick Scott. That's why a recent poll shows that this race is already a statistical tie.
