The fourth special session of the Texas legislature just ended and UNSURPRISINGLY, Texas Republicans have done nothing to support our children and public education! This is a TRAVESTY. With so many families already living paycheck to paycheck, it’s CRITICAL that we invest in our public schools. FIRST:

Texas Republicans STUNNED the nation — by refusing to listen to the families of the Uvalde school shooting and keep our children safe in schools.

NOW:

They’re proving once again that they do not care about the future of our children — by stripping public education of funding AND resources!

After everything children in Uvalde have been through, they deserve EVERY resource possible to ensure they receive the best education possible.

But as public education comes under attack like never before, we know we must fight to protect these invaluable resources.

That’s why we’ve set a goal to raise $1,300 in the next THREE hours to help spread my vision for public education in Texas. [link removed]

I’ve watched long enough while Republicans continue to decimate our public school system.
