There are a lot of things that go into being an executive director of a coalition like the Blue Dogs – from helping advise on strategic decisions to mapping out our 2024 targets – but there is one big one that keeps me up at night: the budget.
Look, team, I’ll be square with you – if we’re going to be able to help all the red to blue races the Blue Dogs are hoping to target this election cycle AND protect all our vulnerable incumbents, then we have a long way to go fundraising-wise to do it. And I am going to ask for your help to do it.
Over the next week or so, you’re going to be hearing from a lot of different campaigns and PACs, all telling you that their cause or candidate is the most important. But here’s the number one reason Blue Dogs should be on the top of your list for a donation: winning the races we target and reelecting our members, from Maine to Alaska and in between, is THE only way to take back the Speaker’s gavel and win back the House.
