Instead of doing his job in a moment of crisis, my opponent was politicking and lobbing nasty attacks at me.
John --
Two nights ago, the House passed a bipartisan emergency bill providing paid leave for workers and other relief during the COVID-19 crisis.
Hundreds of representatives stuck around after midnight to cast that important vote. But Dan Lipinski didn’t even bother to show up. He was politicking at home in Chicago, and lobbing nasty attacks at me on social media.
For Dan Lipinski, it seems like keeping his job is more important than doing his job.
This election is a chance to finally turn the page on that kind of politics. This is my promise to the voters of the Third District: When it matters most -- when it’s the hardest -- I will be a representative who shows up and fights for working families.
In these final two days, we need to reach as many voters as possible. Will you sign up to make some calls from home?
Thank you,
Marie
