As we wrap up our year, we’re reflecting on the many victories for animals we’ve secured over the past 12 months, thanks to YOUR incredible support. Donors like you have made 2023 a monumental, record-breaking year for Animal Wellness Action as we work to improve the lives of pigs, beagles, wild horses, big cats, minks, and countless other animals.

Our monthly supporters are the backbone of our campaigns to halt cruelty of the worst kind. You are the ones who propel our game-changing corporate campaigns, legislative efforts, undercover investigations, and ballot measures. On behalf of animals, we ask a lot of you. Going into 2024, we know there is so much more work to be done together. Here are just a few things your support has accomplished over the past year:

• SCOTUS upheld states’ rights to halt sales of animal products based on concerns about animal cruelty.
• Nike, New Balance, and Puma agreed to stop selling shoes sourced from massacred kangaroos.
• The first-ever horse-racing safety rules have been put in place at Thoroughbred racing tracks throughout the United States.
• The USDA created the first-ever animal welfare standards for egg, pork, and dairy producers—banning gestation crates for pigs and battery cages for hens—if they are raised under the “organic seal.”

We have a track record of success. But we know that there’s so much more to do. That’s why we’re asking you to make this ongoing commitment to the work of our organization.
