John,
Last week, all Senate Democrats voted to send billions to Israel’s military without conditions. (They were blocked by Senate Republicans, who are demanding more money in the funding package to harm immigrants and asylum seekers seeking refuge in the U.S.)
The Biden administration just vetoed a UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire, and bypassed Congress to send more weapons to Israel’s military as it commits war crimes.
Please sign now to tell President Biden and Congress: Call for a ceasefire now. Stop supplying bombs and billions of our tax dollars for a genocide. We will remember where you stand.
It shouldn’t be controversial to say: Stop the killing! Let’s save lives! But rather than work for a ceasefire, rather than acknowledge our shared humanity, many of our elected leaders are trying to help Israel’s government massacre even more Palestinians.
The American people have been clear: The vast majority of us do not want our tax dollars to fund ethnic cleansing. The vast majority of us want a real ceasefire.
And many people are losing their faith in our democracy. For too long, marginalized people have been unheard by our government. I ran for the Michigan House of Representatives and then the U.S. House of Representatives to change that.
We didn’t send people to Congress or send President Biden to the White House to have them supply bombs for a genocide. We must keep making clear that we are paying attention, and we will not forget the actions of our elected leaders.
Please sign to demand President Biden and Congress call for a ceasefire now, rather than send more U.S. weapons or billions of our taxpayer dollars to massacre Palestinians.
Thank you for continuing to see and advocate for our shared humanity.
In solidarity,
Rashida

John,
Over the past week, the Biden administration vetoed a UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire, and bypassed Congress to send more weapons to Israel’s military as it slaughters Palestinians.
The American people want a ceasefire, and they don’t want their tax dollars funding ethnic cleansing. But they’re not being heard by President Biden nor their representatives in Congress.
Last week, all Senate Democrats voted to send billions to Israel’s military without conditions, enabling more violence. The Senate Republicans voted against it only because they wanted additional funding to target immigrants coming to the United States.
Now the Biden administration may bargain away the rights and safety of asylum seekers and immigrants—in order to secure more money for the Israeli military for bombs, weapons, and war crimes.
Please sign now to tell President Biden and Congress: Instead of committing genocide with U.S. weapons and taxpayer dollars, we demand you call for a ceasefire now.
President Biden and my colleagues in Congress have seen dead Palestinian children pulled from the rubble in their pajamas. They’ve seen refugee camps, UN schools, and hospitals bombed with U.S. bombs. They’re watching now as people in Gaza are dying from disease and starving, without enough food or water.
Israel’s government has already massacred over 18,000 Palestinians, and our federal government is egging on even more bloodshed.
It shouldn’t be controversial to say: Stop the killing! Let’s save lives! But rather than work for a ceasefire, rather than acknowledge the humanity of Palestinians or stop the genocide, our elected leaders are supporting more violence.
We cannot lose our shared humanity. We must stay in the streets and on the phones, demanding our elected leaders act now. We must keep crying out that everyone deserves to live.
Please add your name to tell Biden and Congress: We will remember your actions. Call for a ceasefire now. Stop supplying bombs and billions of our tax dollars for a genocide.
Thank you for being part of our growing movement to save lives.
Together, we will keep demanding not only a ceasefire, but also an end to the blockade on Gaza, an end to the dehumanizing system of apartheid, and the return of all hostages and those arbitrarily detained. We will keep advocating for human rights and freedom for all people around the world.
In solidarity,
Rashida
