NBC News recently reported that national Republicans are relying on wealthy, self-funded candidates to take back the Senate next year, focusing their efforts in Montana and Ohio where Democratic senators are up for re-election in states Donald Trump won in 2020.

Then there’s the GOP's powerful, ultra-wealthy dark money interests – the interests I’ve spent decades fighting – pouring money into Republican Senate campaigns.

Overcoming massive spending by personally wealthy and billionaire-backed candidates will be no easy feat. Meanwhile, my campaign relies entirely on the support of people like you.

And with the Senate split almost evenly, we need this grassroots movement to help tip the scales. This people-powered campaign has to keep up to protect our slim Democratic majority in the Senate.
