The time for a permanent ceasefire is now. Since the brutal attack by Hamas against Israel on October 7, Israel’s relentless assault on Gaza has killed over 18,000 Palestinians, predominantly civilians including 9,000 children. At the same time, armed Israeli settlers are committing atrocities against Palestinians in the West Bank. We must arm ourselves with the knowledge to understand IHL in order to combat media distortions and political propaganda, and push for accountability for the perpetrators of these war crimes.

Together, we can contribute to raising awareness about the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine and advocate for peace and justice in accordance with international law.
