John, this is Josh’s campaign manager with a troubling update:

We didn’t meet last night’s fundraising goal. Will you rush $10 now to help us get back on track?

November and December have been slow for fundraising. Now, we’re in an even tighter spot. After we found out that Donald Trump hosted a fundraiser with our most extreme opponent, Lt. Governor Mark Robinson, we tried EVERYTHING to ensure our fundraising numbers stayed competitive.

With our public filing deadline approaching at the end of the month, we can’t afford to show any weakness. That’s just not an option, especially with pundits calling this the most consequential gubernatorial race of 2024.

We expect national GOP groups to pour money into North Carolina to flip the Governor’s office. So our grassroots fundraising has to keep up to stay competitive – and falling behind could hurt our chances in this toss-up race.
