John, with only hours to go until my final mid-month fundraising deadline of the year, I had to reach out with a quick update: 

FIRST, I announced my campaign for US Senate and the establishment shrugged their shoulders.

THEN, I received more votes than any other candidate at the California Democratic Party Endorsement Convention – a HUGE confidence boost to our campaign!

NOW, new polls show that nearly 40% of voters in California are still undecided.

John, this is still anyone's race – and my momentum is catching like fire. But, with time running out before my midnight deadline, we still have serious ground to cover to stay competitive and finally pull ahead in the polls. So I need to ask:

John, will you rush $5 or more right now to help me close this fundraising gap, win in California and build a progressive future for all of us?
