For two hours tonight, the American people will see Joe Biden and myself on a debate stage, one-on-one, debating the solutions to the enormous crises facing our country.

I will explain more shortly. But suffice to say, this is a very big day for our campaign and our movement.

And, as much as I wish it was not the case, we need this to be a very big day for our fundraising as well.

Here is why tonight is so important:

Joe Biden and I will offer differing solutions to critical issues for two hours.

And, unfortunately, the coronavirus crisis is highlighting how stark some of those differences actually are.

I support Medicare for All to make health care a human right for every American. Joe Biden has suggested he would veto it.

I believe that we are only as safe as the least-insured person in America. Joe Biden’s health care plan would leave 10 million people uninsured.

I believe that we must take on the greed and profiteering of the pharmaceutical industry. Joe Biden does not. In fact, he takes their money to fund his campaign.

On issue after issue, we will be able to show the American people why it is our campaign that has what it takes to win this election and transform our country.

I will be making that case on stage tonight. And I am asking you to show your support for that case by making a financial contribution to our campaign today.
