Dear Friends,
While the House may be in recess for the year, our office is still hard at work for the Second District. I’ve enjoyed joining our communities for holiday gatherings and spending time with families across our district. I look forward to hearing from you during this holiday season so that I can fight for you when I return to Washington.

PREEMIE ACT Passes the House

The House passed the bipartisan PREEMIE Reauthorization Act of 2023. I am proud to lead the PREEMIE Act to ensure that premature babies have the resources they need to thrive. This legislation will reauthorize critical federal research, education, and intervention activities to reduce preterm birth and infant mortality. You can read the full bill HERE.
Rep. Kelly Joins March Against Domestic Violence
Domestic violence is an epidemic that claims far too many lives each year. I joined the Brides March in Washington to remember the women in our nation who have perished because of intimate partner violence and commit to protect those who live in fear. Congress must take action to protect and support victims of domestic violence.
