Tammy Update: Senator Baldwin talks 2024, the Respect for Marriage Act and More!
This week marked the anniversary of the signing of the Respect for Marriage Act [[link removed]] . America's first out LGBTQ+ U.S. Senator, Tammy Baldwin , was a major force behind the passage of the bill. Senator Baldwin also joined MSNBC to talk 2024 [[link removed]] . As the Senator puts it: "2024 will be critical for restoring our rights and freedoms." [[link removed]] We couldn't agree more.
Meanwhile, Senator Baldwin has a new opponent: millionaire businessman Eric Hovde [[link removed]] . Hovde previously ran for the Senate in 2012 and lost [[link removed]] .
Victory in Texas: Mario Castillo wins!
Congratulations, Mario! Despite his opponent running a homophobic dog whistle [[link removed]] just one week before the election, Mario has declared victory and will maintain LGBTQ+ representation on the Houston City Council [[link removed]] .
Vice President of Outreach and Engagement Marty Rouse has been on the ground in Texas, helping to inspire voters and knock doors.

New Maps for Mondaire Jones in NY
The redistricting process in New York has not been easy - and it's not over yet [[link removed]] . Congressional candidate Mondaire Jones issued a statement about the New York State Court of Appeals latest ruling. Read it here [[link removed]] !
