John,

I’m Ben Toma – current Speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives – and
I’m excited to share with you that I just launched my campaign for Arizona’s
8th Congressional District.

Congresswoman Debbie Lesko, who is retiring from this seat, has endorsed me
to take her place, and now I need your support to keep AZ-8 out of the Left’s
grasp and safely in conservative hands.

When I was 9 years old, I escaped communist Romania with my family and came
legally to America seeking freedom and a new life.

We found everything we were looking for here – freedom, security, prosperity,
and opportunity.

From being an escapee from communism, to becoming an American citizen, a
small business owner, and now serving as Speaker of the Arizona House,I have
lived the America Dream!

But now, I’m seeing the same dangers of communism and socialism go from
creeping among the fringe to becoming mainstream ideas here in America.

I won’t stand for it, and I’m running for Congress to fight against the
dangerous and radical agenda being pushed by the Left.

Will you stand with me and ensure we can protect our security, freedom,
prosperity, and values from being compromised and even destroyed by the radical
Left by supporting my campaign with a contribution of $10, $15, $25 or more?

Our borders are being invaded by people with no allegiance to our nation or
our Constitution; our economic freedom and stability are being undermined;
anarchists and criminals are protected while law & order is demonized; our
right to defend ourselves is consistently being eroded; our corrupt political
leaders are abusing power to attack and imprison political opponents.

These are NOT characteristics of a free and strong nation – they are the signs
of a crumbling society that gives rise to dictators.

We must do whatever it takes to stop this, and we must have leaders in
Congress who will stand up for our Constitution, defend American values, and
fight for conservative principles.

That’s why I’m running in AZ-8 and why I need every bit of support you can
send. Can you chip in today to join my fight to protect America from the
radical Left?

ABOUT BEN TOMA

Ben Toma’s family legally immigrated to the United States when he was just 9
years old. His family fled the dangers of communism at the time in Romania to
seek freedom and build a new life here in America.

Ben is a small business owner and real estate broker, served on the Peoria
City Council, and was appointed to the Arizona State House of Representatives
in 2017. In 2018, Toma was elected in his own right and was quickly elevated to
leadership roles by his peers. In the legislature, Toma authored and passed two
landmark pieces of conservative legislation that were labeled “impossible” by
both friend and foe.

First was the historic “flat tax” law bringing economic relief to working
families and small businesses; to date, this was the single largest tax cut in
Arizona’s history. Second, he was the author of, and instrumental in passing,
the “biggest school choice victory in U.S. history” better known as universal
Empowerment Scholarship Accounts. These ESAs allow parents to make the best
decisions for their children’s education.

In 2023, Ben Toma was elected Speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives.
