We have a fundraising deadline coming up tonight, and an even bigger one at the end of the month. I want to explain why our re-election campaign needs your support, and why I’m hoping you can pitch in today.

It boils down to this: if we lose my district, our chances of flipping the House from red to blue all but disappear.

It’s true. Republicans hold the House by a tiny margin. That means we only need to flip a few seats — but only if we hold every other toss-up district like mine.

We can’t forget how hard Republicans tried to win my district last year, and how much harder they’ll try to defeat me this time around.

• GOP super PACs spent millions of dollars to defeat me ➡️ and they’ll spend millions more in 2024.
• Our MAGA extremist opponent last year was endorsed by GOP leaders ➡️ and our MAGA extremist opponent this year has already been endorsed by Elise Stefanik.
• We won by 3,500 votes last year ➡️ so we can count on this race being close.

Next year, who’s in the White House will be on the ballot. The stakes are higher than before, and this race will be more expensive than the last. We have to win to help secure a majority in Congress. That’s why I’m asking:
