I'm Courage California's digital strategist. I also have used
mifepristone, the abortion pill at the center of the lawsuit that the
Supreme Court just agreed to hear.

Eight years ago, I was 10 weeks along when I learned that my pregnancy
wasn't viable but also that my body wasn't miscarrying on its own. I was
devastated -- and also worried about what would happen next. Fortunately,
my doctor was able to prescribe me mifepristone so that I could miscarry
safely, in the privacy of my own home.

If I hadn't had access to that medication, I would have had to go into the
hospital for an invasive procedure, putting me at risk of infection. And
now the Supreme Court may decide to make that the fate of millions of
women.

access to a medication that has been safely used for 20 years. Tell the
Supreme Court to keep its hands off reproductive health care!

More than half of all abortions in the U.S. use mifepristone.(1) The U.S.
Food and Drug Administration has called mifepristone “safe and effective”
and has been used by millions of people since its approval in 2000. And
yet, that hasn’t stopped right-wing groups from launching campaigns to ban
the drug for good.

But extremist judges that Donald Trump installed are seizing another
opportunity to control our bodies and ban abortion. A federal court
attempted to overturn the FDA's approval of mifepristone, and now the
anti-choice Supreme Court is going to decide the drug's future -- a
decision it has no place in.(2)

Mifepristone has revolutionized reproductive health care, and it's
critical for continuing to allow safe, private abortion no matter where in
the country we are. We need to tell the Supreme Court to keep their hands
out of our reproductive choices.
